This week our 'Featured Gin' is from Parrot Distilling Co. from Orange, NSW. We first came across Parrot from one of our customers who said we must pay them a visit when we told them we were heading up there for a 'R&D' trip.
The distillery, or 'The Aviary' as they've named it, is located in the heart of Orange and a tasting experience is highly recommended.
Parrot Founder Ben Cochrane has created a masterful collection of gins and the Parrot team are regularly creating seasonal and limited editions too.
This week we are featuring their Oriental Gin, colloquially known as the 'OG'. Infused with lemongrass and complemented by the subtle tingle of chilli, with scents of lime and a refreshing flavour of nashi pears. Juniper still plays a strong role with the most delectable hint of Vietnamese mint to finish. This gin will take you on a virtual tour of Asia.
